THE goal to your business becoming a specialty business and not a grab-and-go speciality business you are here because you have a process,

you are on time, you stick to a plan because you have aspired to success and stay on course because you have focused and strived to gain proficiency if you're not there yet, you'll be after you've been a consistent implementer for a while that means you should look good talk good smell good be people-friendly cause the people who come and use your services need to know that you're meeting a need that you are committed to the continued training that you see the value in bringing them more value. your target is the prospect your value to them is the ability to deliver the above, regardless of the level of skill and ability they possess to you it's all one big math equation one of the things that made us want to come to Columbus was that it is a welcoming community.

and it's a community that wants to see people excel. and we've come to have a very fond relationship with the folks at UGA ... we have our bus named after the college, and we are a central hub for taking these kids off the streets and bringing them to our office for testing. so we are very proud of our reputation this is our home and we are excited to be a part of the growth in central Ohio have a great day and God bless you. ps it wasn't the...actually it was the UT40 but all the symbols mean the same thing. (they had to advertise for a mascot, after all) you gotta get the names right read the mission statement in fact read that on the university's home page pull down the home page, get a cup of coffee, and read that. it is pretty awesome here's the story of how we got the name....

Center for Learning my family owns the building where our center is located, so it's pretty safe to say that the name of our business originates from where we started out. the theory behind our model of training is that the first 80% of training takes 80% of time i said the practice took 80% of the time and the actual service took 20% of the time so what we do is we get them trained at a 20% margin a 40% return on our investment so what we do is we test you...we have a 10 week program where we go into the field with a trainer, they test you in what you need to know on the last week we're here in a workshop. they really can't get hurt at this point we are in a big lecture hall and you've been taught a bunch of cool stuff you've learned some methods for how to actually work with the clients but you haven't been taught how to do the actual service work what we do is we provide your expertise, we do all the practice, and we sit down with you and tell you what needs to be done and we tell you what to expect...

to the extent that we can...the extent that our resources allow us because of the nature of our business, we are truly the trainers and our coaches are out there in the field. so for those people, we build a pipeline through our "servicemen and women program", through our Veterans Services program, through other relationships that way we are able to train a lot of different folks who are very often in a position where they are the best possible fit for the clientele that we serve. so this is a good example of how this works. first we develop the training plan and then we do the practice for it we do the service for the clientele, and then we bring them back in to give them the certifications and in order to build a strong pipeline,

in order to create a system that can grow in the long run, you have to start with something that is very practical you have to start with something that can be implemented and used immediately but once the model is set up once the system is established, then you can build on that and build on that we have set our foundation with this, but this is just the beginning we have many more plans that we will be working on one of them being this more permanent structure this is just a temporary structure in fact, it's all temporary, the same thing happened when we started the clinic here in Columbus...we are temporary buildings..

.they get shipped out to the different sites to the different locations, and they just stay there for a long time since we have no overhead no real physical building to keep an eye on we can move them around but they all need to stay connected they all need to be able to feed into each other, and in order to do that, we have to have an actual building to keep an eye on. so that's what this is all about so that's what we're talking about.
