In order for you to mentor a student, you must create a profile on our website. Once you are approved to be a mentor, we will send you an email with a link to your profile. Once you are approved, you will then be able to choose what group you would like to mentor. Here are some examples of groups you could mentor: (You can browse more groups here .) How to Find a Mentor If you are interested in the information below, please click here to complete our screening questionnaire. This questionnaire will help you decide if mentoring is right for you. What is the age range you are willing to mentor students? (18-20) Are you willing to mentor a student on weekdays, during the hours you normally work? (Day and evening) Do you know how much time you typically spend on client-facing activities? (2-5 hours per day) How much mentoring experience do you have?

(any training or mentoring) What type of schedule do you have? (8-5, 10-6, 1-7 or 8-5, 10-6) How much education do you have? (any formal education, but MUST have a degree) What type of continuing education do you currently have? (must have already completed a minimum number of credits) Have you previously mentored in another capacity? How many students are you currently mentoring? (more than 5) How long have you been actively mentoring? (1-2 years) Do you have some good resources or advice to give me as I begin my mentoring experience? (email, blog, etc) In addition to the above, here are some common things to know about our mentoring program: Group sessions are 5 hours each, and we do not expect you to be available for all 5 group sessions.

You will receive a learning objective and a personal mentoring report from each group session you work with the student. After you complete the mentoring questionnaire, we will review your profile, and we will place you in the appropriate group(s). You will have 2 weeks to complete your group sessions.
